By yourself you’re unprotected.  With a friend you can face the worst.  Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped.  Ecclesiastes 4:12 (MSG)I have been told it takes a minimum of three years for a women who has been abused, used, and broken to be able to stand on her own two feet again.   Three years is a long time to fall down and get back up over and over again, but how much sweeter it is to have someone beside you every time you fall down they lend a hand to pick you back up.That is the call God has placed on many of our hearts.God uses us as his hands and feet everyday in the lives of the women we meet in the clubs.  As Scarlet Hope continues to grow and God’s work continues to grow stories of lives being changed and growth steps are taken every single day.  We are in this for the long haul.  The women on our teams are committed to these ladies at all costs.God has us picking up women to take them to doctors appointments to find out that they have staph infection and are ill.  He has us spending countless hours a week driving women to counseling appointments so they can start to heal from physical and emotional abuse that has happened to them for years.  God has us bringing a husband and wife to a food pantry because they’ve been living off spaghetti noodles for 2 weeks.  God is using us to help furnish a home that is barren with not even a bed.  God is placing us in a position to be a dancers first contact when she feels as though she can’t make it anymore.God is fulfilling his plans through the lives of women and men who have stepped up to answer the call on their hearts.  This is the way God fulfills his purpose is through individuals who are so in Love with the Lord that they can’t help but to Love his people.”We screamed at the top of our lungs”  …written by Rachelle S.It was time for S’s counseling appointment, so she hopped in the car and we drove off to the counselor.  What I didn’t realize at the time was the state of depression that S was in.  You see S has slipped back into the clubs after coming out of the industry for a bit. God has really showed us how much he loves S and wants to care for her and how much He desires for her to be whole and happy in His arms.  S has become quite trusting of our team and myself and she decided to share with me how she took a lighted cigarette last night and burned four burn marks into her arms.   She felt no pain, she said.  She was completely numb to the fact that she was burning herself, yet the pain she is feeling is killing her on the inside and is being outwardly shown.   She expressed to me that her anxiety level and stress level has become so severe since re-entering in the clubs that she feels worse than she ever has.  She had her time with the counselor and then I was able to meet with the both of them.   It was a hard conversation to hear of the trauma and tragedy that she is facing.  I often wonder how in the world a person can endure so much.  But, God never gives us more than we can handle and though that is hard to imagine, His word is true.On the way home from the counselor, S said to me “I feel so badly that I want to scream at the top of my lungs…I feel that satan is so mad that God is getting so close that I feel like he is bursting out of me”   So I said “what are we waiting for let’s get satan out of there”………we rolled down the windows and driving down the interstate screamed at the top of our lungs together!!!! With a burst of fresh air in our lungs we laughed so hard and it felt so relieving to break evil spirits that were bursting inside of her!!Every step, every burst of fresh air, every scream at the top of the lungs is allowing just a little bit more of God into her life.  I praise Him for his love and mercy!!!!  What a wonderful God we have!!!Please lift up the dancers God is putting in our paths and continue to pray for our team members that God will strengthen them to walk along side of these women and not give up.To read more journal entries and stories, visit our blog:  www.scarlethope.orgLoving and Serving Him,Rachelle & The Scarlet Hope Team
By yourself you’re unprotected. Â With a friend you can face the worst. Â Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped. Â Ecclesiastes 4:12 (MSG)

I have been told it takes a minimum of three years for a women who has been abused, used, and broken to be able to stand on her own two feet again. Three years is a long time to fall down and get back up over and over again, but how much sweeter it is to have someone beside you every time you fall down they lend a hand to pick you back up.

That is the call God has placed on many of our hearts.

God uses us as his hands and feet everyday in the lives of the women we meet in the clubs. Â As Scarlet Hope continues to grow and God’s work continues to grow stories of lives being changed and growth steps are taken every single day. Â We are in this for the long haul. Â The women on our teams are committed to these ladies at all costs.

God has us picking up women to take them to doctors appointments to find out that they have staph infection and are ill. Â He has us spending countless hours a week driving women to counseling appointments so they can start to heal from physical and emotional abuse that has happened to them for years. Â God has us bringing a husband and wife to a food pantry because they’ve been living off spaghetti noodles for 2 weeks. Â God is using us to help furnish a home that is barren with not even a bed. Â God is placing us in a position to be a dancers first contact when she feels as though she can’t make it anymore.

God is fulfilling his plans through the lives of women and men who have stepped up to answer the call on their hearts. Â This is the way God fulfills his purpose is through individuals who are so in Love with the Lord that they can’t help but to Love his people.

“We screamed at the top of our lungs”  …written by Rachelle S.

It was time for S’s counseling appointment, so she hopped in the car and we drove off to the counselor. Â What I didn’t realize at the time was the state of depression that S was in. Â You see S has slipped back into the clubs after coming out of the industry for a bit. God has really showed us how much he loves S and wants to care for her and how much He desires for her to be whole and happy in His arms. Â S has become quite trusting of our team and myself and she decided to share with me how she took a lighted cigarette last night and burned four burn marks into her arms. Â Â She felt no pain, she said. Â She was completely numb to the fact that she was burning herself, yet the pain she is feeling is killing her on the inside and is being outwardly shown. Â Â She expressed to me that her anxiety level and stress level has become so severe since re-entering in the clubs that she feels worse than she ever has. Â She had her time with the counselor and then I was able to meet with the both of them. Â Â It was a hard conversation to hear of the trauma and tragedy that she is facing. Â I often wonder how in the world a person can endure so much. Â But, God never gives us more than we can handle and though that is hard to imagine, His word is true.

On the way home from the counselor, S said to me “I feel so badly that I want to scream at the top of my lungs…I feel that satan is so mad that God is getting so close that I feel like he is bursting out of me”   So I said “what are we waiting for let’s get satan out of there”………we rolled down the windows and driving down the interstate screamed at the top of our lungs together!!!! With a burst of fresh air in our lungs we laughed so hard and it felt so relieving to break evil spirits that were bursting inside of her!!

Every step, every burst of fresh air, every scream at the top of the lungs is allowing just a little bit more of God into her life. Â I praise Him for his love and mercy!!!! Â What a wonderful God we have!!!

Please lift up the dancers God is putting in our paths and continue to pray for our team members that God will strengthen them to walk along side of these women and not give up.
