A Scarlet Hope Journal
Journal Entry #92

“God untied the death ropes and raised him up.   Death had no match for him”   Acts 2:28(MSG)
I apologize for it taking this long to get a report and update out.   We have been busy as ever doing God’s work and learning many lessons a long the way!

Scarlet Hope the last two weeks have been amazing both in the clubs and out of the clubs with our ladies.    Our team has been able to meet many needs that have arose and been challenged with difficult situations that have come our way.    Here are a few of the highlights.

AD – A beautiful dancer we met at Club 2.   She was 8 months pregnant at the time we met her and severely wrapped up in drugs.     It took a few weeks before AD came around to wanting some real help and reaching out to trust our team.   Rachel E. from our team has come a long side her and really encouraged her in her life.    AD is asking questions about God, church and life.    She comes from an abusive boyfriend and has another little girl.   Just today we hooked AD up with Choices for Women in New Albany to help start her on a path to being a better mom and helping her out with all the expenses that come with having a baby.    Thank you Lord for Choices.

D – D has been out of the club for approximately 2 months.   She has been staying strong through the death of her boyfriend and many other life tragedies that have come her way.   D is now in counseling on a weekly basis, thanks to a professional therapist offering her services to our ministry!    Thank you Lord!     D desperately needs a job and has a few opportunities coming up.   Please keep those in your prayers.

L – Club 1 dancer.    L has relapsed back into the industry and we are praying that God will help break these chains of bondage.   She is in a really abusive relationship and is in a really confused state of mind most of the time.   Please pray for her as she has 4 children to tend to and is in need of some redemption only the Lord can provide!

These are just a few of the many many stories we could share.    God is doing a mighty work through the men and women that serve in Scarlet Hope and we are so thankful for the calling He has placed on our hearts! The Lord’s work is challenging, but ever so rewarding!
