God is raising up Kingdom workers in our Discipleship community. Just this week, two of our ladies, J and M, visited a new woman from our Bible study who has been discouraged lately. J and M heard about what she was going through the day before and they went first thing the next day just to spend time with her and encourage her.
Two weeks ago, another Bible study member, L, gave another new mom clothes for her and her baby. L is also planning our next community service project that all the ladies at Bible study will participate in.
S was a woman our ministry reached out to for many years before she became a Believer and an active part of our community. Recently she has been finding ways live out her faith and reach out to others. This month at Bible study a few new ladies opened up about their lives and their struggle in their faith. S immediately invited them to come to her home on another night that week just to read the bible together. They have continued to meet each week. S has also helped many women in our community to find furniture and other needs for their families.
We are so excited to see ladies, once far from God, now pursuing others and leading them to Christ! Many of our ladies have faced extreme obstacles that they’ve needed help with such as addiction, poverty, and abuse. Still, they are learning that God can use them in His kingdom, too, and that they are called to serve and give back. They are finding creative ways to do that. They are learning to prefer others before themselves. They are disciples making disciples.
