Some may call them unsung heroes, some may call them helpers, some may call them necessary. I call them a BLESSING! Volunteers are essential to this ministry. It’s a beautiful thing to see women from across the Louisville area from different churches, families, and backgrounds, all coming together to serve the Lord by loving those that Jesus loved, those that the world looks down on.
I have seen volunteers drive out of their way each week to pick up a lady to bring her to Bible study, give up every Thursday night with their family to take meals to strip clubs, give of their financial resources until it hurts, invite ladies into their homes, cook meals each and every week, and so much more.
Life happens and it’s easy to get bogged down with our to do lists, home activities, and busy calendars, but these ladies understand that this is a priority. The Lord calls each of us to this ministry and it’s by HIS grace that we are able to serve. I would like to thank each one of our volunteers for answering God’s call to serve!
Thank you Lord for these amazing women that you have blessed this ministry with. Thank you for giving them a heart for YOU and for their obedience to what you have asked of them.
