Two years ago we never would of imagined the blessings God would pour out onto this ministry today. This day was truly a day of celebration! In a room full of guests that would soon hear the words by women whom God has rescued from the adult entertainment industry! Â Nicole, Mary, and Dawne were among the notable speakers of the night.
The night started off with live jazz music and an amazing silent auction that raised Scarlet Hope several thousand dollars! Thank you to Great Harvest Bread Company, Chic-Fil-A, Dr. Poe Family Dentistry, Beautiful Mixed Media, 105.9 WayFM, Julie Wiegand Photography and so many more that made our silent auction a hit!
Reflecting back over this last year and everything God has done, it truly is astounding how big God is. Â How when just a few girls decide to follow Christ at all cost the Lord brings women up out of the pit. Â He gives them Hope and Life. Â So they can be in a relationship with Him again! Â Some highlights of the evening that were shared.
Scarlet Hope has effectively ministered to over 300 women in the sex industry over the last 2 years. Â More than 40 women have chosen to start a new life working outside of the industry. Â We have had the honor and privelege of training 6 groups from 6 other cities to bring the hope and love of Christ to women in the adult entertainment industry in their city. Â It's a beautiful thing! Â But don't take our word for it. Â Three women share their testimonies of brokenness, redemption, and how God used Scarlet Hope to bring them a Hope that they never knew existed. Each of these women shared during our Gala, check out their stories.
Mary was a former dancer of 35 years, she's been abused, pimped out, and in the darkness for a long long time. But the Lord called her out of the industry on her 50th birthday when she met our team for the 2nd time.

Dawne, a single mother. Â Scarlet Hope met Dawne while she was at her breaking point. Â Dawne shares her story through a beautiful video testimony. Â Click here to watch the video…
At 22 years old, Nicole shares her story of how God brought her into a relationship with him, while beaten down, time in jail, and literally homeless with nowhere else to go. Â Read Nicole's testimony from the Gala …Click Here.
The true success of the night is that God took 3 amazing women and used them to tell their stories. Used them to make a difference in others lives. He used them to spread the gospel!
Nicole (below) was baptized on September 12th 2010
Kyle Idleman, teaching pastor Southeast Christian Church shared in our night with us by bringing home an amazing story of redemption. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;” Isaiah 1:18
We can't thank everyone enough for being apart of this wonderful evening and for making this night a huge success!
With your efforts and support Scarlet Hope raised

Our cup literally runs over. Â What an amazing blessing this has been to the Lord's ministry through Scarlet Hope. Â The money raised at the Scarlet Hope Gala will be used to find a Resource Center where Scarlet Hope can reside and have a more effective impact on the industry in our city. Â We are searching for a building that will be used for, kitchen space (to prepare over 5000 meals a month) for GED Trainings, Life Skill Training, Mentoring Opportunities, and a place where the women we serve to come into throughout the week where they can come experience Jesus' love. Â With your donations and support this dream will be a reality. Â So THANK YOU! Â Our hearts are rejoicing for The Lord is Good!
We also want to thank The Louisville Cupcake Shoppe for donating an amazing display of dessert cupcakes for our event.
Thank you to the jazz band that worked so hard on putting this set together! Â You all were amazing.
