Club 2 Report

“My heart is very heavy as I write this entry. I love the girls at club 2 very much and they are wonderful women. Â But this last week when I was there I felt very uncomfortable. They have hired new girls and girls we have formed relationships with seem to be working other nights than Thursday. Some of the girls still talk to us and ask for prayer and share their weeks events, but for the most part the girls are very cold and distant. I am praying for this club and the management. I believe GOD can work in the lives of these people. BUt it is our job to be there, show love and always pray.” -Rachel

There were multiple men who came into the club, but many of the dancers just weren't there. M was there last night who is a regular male patron. M has a relationship with Trenton and Jason. They have both met up with him at different times for dinner and M asked Trenton to print off scripture on Heaven for him. Trenton and Jason prayed with him last night by his car and they had a deep discussion about the Bible and the Qur'an/Koran! Within the club I met CN who is a mom of 8. Her husband, and the father of all of her children, is in jail. As we were leaving she asked if I would talk to her sometime. I got  her number and she said, “So when you call me….I want to …that means I want your advice – I don't want you to just listen….” I will call her over the weekend!!  – Ellen J.
