Club 3:

Tonight was awesome as usual! Â We were able to spend over two hours with the women doing their hair and make up.
All of the dancers were overly thankful for us being there and spending time with them! They are constantly saying how much they love us and cant believe that women would actually do what we do. All through out the night we are constantly hugged and kissed by the girls. It’s a beautiful sight to see relationships being built and God’s love breaking down walls.
At one point in the evening a slow song on the jute box came on and we were all making jokes about how it was waltzing music ect. which you typically don’t hear in strip clubs. Well upon these comments, a dance M, decided to break into slow dancing with Mandy out of no where! It was the coolest thing I have ever seen! To be standing in the dancers dressing room and watch M teach Mandy how to Dance! M is such a sweet heart too!
L- new dancer who just started a week or so ago. She told us she had been addicted to drugs since she was 12. She is in her mid 20’s now and told us that she had 3 months sober! She was so proud of herself and very talkative with us. Â She absolutely LOVEd getting her hair and make-up done!
C- another new dancer we met. She is originally from Louisville but had spent years and years as a traveling dancer opening up strip clubs in other states. We did’t find out a lot about her but she loved getting her hair curled
J- finally showed back up. We have been very worried about her because we haven’t seen her in a few weeks. When she showed up she looked terrible! she looked very run down and she told me she was high. She has our number and pray she uses it when she feels led.
E-was the last amazing dancer we met on this night. We had an opportunity to listen to most of her story and it just blew us all away. She’s 20. She has been in and out of foster homes since she was 15. She wen to 9 different high schools. She has been in 4 different mental health centers. She doesn’t talk to her mom and her father has been in prison her whole life so she’s never met him. She is such a sweet girl and just seemed hungry for friendships. She hung out most of the night back there with us. Please pray for these relationships to deepen!

WOW! I had an amazing night. It started off with doing C’s hair. She was new to the club and about my age.We talked as I was doing her hair. She has traveled a lot with dancing. I did L’s hair next. She is so young. She has been sober for ninety days. How awesome is that! She had been using since she was twelve. She was so grateful for her hair and makeup being done. . She made it through everythin and turned out to be such a beautiful young woman when we were about to leave Hannah went and got C, because she let us use her nail polish and we didn’t want to leave it out. C came back and thanked me for her hair and asked why we do this. I started to tell her, but I was too emotional.
Hannah told her we are there, because we love them. C told us she loved us too and was so happy we are there. She said I was beautiful and I told her that she was beautiful too! Then there was G. She was the oldest of the group. We talked about how she has six boys. Her baby is nine. We talked about how the kids today don’t have much of a childhood. Then she started talking about church and how her kids want her to go. She said “I can’t go to church and go strip the next night!” She said something about God not wanting that. I explained that none of us are perfect and we don’t burst in flames when we walk in. I should have said a church isn’t a meeting place for saints, but a hospital for sinners! My time with G was so precious! God is an awesome God! He knew I was going to be able to go last night, but I didn’t. it just awesome how he works and how his plan is much greater than we could ever imagine! Thank you! I love you and this ministry! your sister in Christ, Kate H.
