At Scarlet Hope, we go where the gaps are—where the need is great, and few are reaching exploited women with the hope of Christ. For years, we have had faithful supporters in New York, including Dewey Lee, who has passionately advocated for bringing Scarlet Hope to the state.

After reading Outrageous Obedience, Dewey felt God’s clear call to take action. He began gathering interest, speaking to churches, and building a team to launch outreach in the Hudson Valley—just 90 miles north of New York City. In November 2024, we hosted a vision casting meeting with over 50 people, and God confirmed that He was already preparing the way for this ministry.

At the same time, a church in Manhattan reached out, asking if we would consider bringing Scarlet Hope to the city. Within the same week as our Hudson Valley launch, it became evident— God was calling us to New York.

New York has a large anti-trafficking movement, but a huge gap exists in digital outreach —where thousands of women are being exploited online. With access to over 25,000 individuals in the Manhattan to Hudson Valley region, we are stepping forward with a vision to reach every single one with the hope of the Gospel.

In March 2025, Dewey and his team launched Scarlet Hope New York, and we are already working with churches and partners in Manhattan to expand our reach. God is moving, and we believe He will transform lives across this city!
