What would it look like for your church to extend consistent, Christ-centered presence into places where exploitation is happening today?
At Scarlet Hope, we believe the local church is uniquely positioned to respond to women in the adult entertainment industry with dignity, clarity, and long-term care. Through Digital Outreach, churches are learning how to meet women online, where many are first advertised and isolated, and offer real connection rooted in faith.
Digital Outreach does not replace local outreach. It extends it.
The Mission Field Has Expanded
Today, much of sexual exploitation is facilitated online. Advertisements and messaging platforms have become common points of vulnerability and control.
Club and street outreach remain vital. However, digital outreach allows churches to meet women at the point where exploitation often begins: through a screen.
This work does not require a large staff or complex infrastructure. It requires a committed team, thoughtful training, and leadership alignment.
How Digital Outreach Works in a Church
When a church partners with Scarlet Hope, we provide the training, structure, and secure technology needed to launch and sustain a Digital Outreach ministry.
Your church provides the people and the presence.
A typical gathering includes:
• Prayer and Scripture to ground the team
• Sending respectful, trauma-informed messages through a secure platform
• Responding thoughtfully when women engage
• Coordinating local follow-up when appropriate
Messages are simple and dignified:
“You are seen. If you ever need prayer or support, we are here.”
Some women ask for prayer.
Some begin ongoing conversations.
Some do not respond.
Digital Outreach is not driven by quick results. It is built on consistent presence.
Why the Local Church Matters
Women navigating exploitation may never walk into a church building on their own. But they may respond to a message.
When a church engages in Digital Outreach, it becomes a steady point of connection in its community. Over time, that consistency creates space for:
• Prayer conversations
• Resource referrals
• Discipleship pathways
• Connection to trusted local support
Churches are not asked to meet every need alone. Scarlet Hope provides ongoing guidance and partnership to ensure outreach remains sustainable and healthy.
You Do Not Have to Be on Staff to Start the Conversation
Many Digital Outreach ministries begin with one person who recognizes the need and initiates a conversation within their church.
If you believe your church could engage in this work, you can take the first step. We will walk with you through the discernment process and help determine whether this model is a good fit.
What This Requires
Digital Outreach is steady work.
It requires:
• Prayerful volunteers
• Leadership alignment
• Trauma-informed engagement
• Patience and consistency
When implemented thoughtfully, Digital Outreach becomes a sustainable expression of conviction and compassion within the local church.
