A Foundation That Does Not Shift

When Rachelle Starr founded Scarlet Hope in 2007, she knew the ministry had to be built on something unshakable: the hope of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is simple and clear:

We exist to share the hope and love of Jesus with women in the adult entertainment industry.

That calling only makes sense if it is grounded in Christ. Without Him, there is no lasting hope to offer.

Why “Scarlet Hope”?

The name itself is intentional. Scarlet reminds us of the blood of Jesus, poured out in love. His life, death, and resurrection are the source of true restoration and lasting hope.

Each week, we meet women who may not yet know that hope. That is why it is essential that we remain rooted in Christ ourselves. We cannot offer what we do not carry.

Even when transformation is not immediately visible, we trust that God is at work.

When Brokenness Feels Close

Not every story resolves the way we pray it will.

Sometimes communication fades.
Sometimes there are setbacks.
Sometimes plans fall through.

These are the quieter, heavier moments of ministry. They remind us that outreach is not about visible results. It is about faithfulness.

When outcomes are uncertain, we return to what we know is true. God is not finished. What feels like delay to us is never beyond His reach.

So we keep showing up. Week after week. With consistency. With dignity. With the hope of the gospel.

Every Seed Matters

Scripture reminds us that God’s Word does not return empty. Even when we cannot see growth, the gospel is still bearing fruit in ways we may not yet understand.

Our responsibility is not to manufacture change. It is to remain faithful.

Our Real Goal

During volunteer orientation, we share our mission clearly:

We exist to share the hope and love of Jesus with women in the adult entertainment industry.

This mission is not about fixing someone or controlling outcomes.

It is not primarily about career changes or life transitions, even though practical stability matters deeply.

Our ultimate goal is that women encounter Jesus.

When someone meets Jesus, He brings transformation in His timing and in His way. Our role is to point faithfully toward Him while walking alongside women with patience and care.

He Changes Hearts

We have seen women explore faith for the first time.
We have seen women step into healthier community.
We have seen women pursue stability and renewed purpose.

Each story is different. Each journey unfolds uniquely.

What brings us joy is not simply outward change, but the reality that women are encountering the love of Christ in ways that restore dignity and hope.

He Is Our Only Hope

We long to see women free from exploitation, addiction, and isolation. But even more, we long for them to know the One who redeems and restores.

Everything we do at Scarlet Hope flows from this conviction: Jesus is the source of healing and new life.

His love does not waver. That is why our hope remains steady, even in seasons of waiting.
